The weather flips like a coin in Portugal
The mercury has taken a sharp rise in the last few days. Just a few weeks ago, we were on top of the mountains that rise above us, and the trees were covered in ice! The other day, as I was walking past the shack, I looked at the thermometer that hangs in the shade by the door, and it read 34°C. It is a stark reminder of the extremes of this land.
